I AM HAPPY RELOCATING BACK HOME – AFUA BONI

Afua Boni is a Ghanaian – German model who had been in the United States for 18years now and had come back home. She sings, acts but modeling has been the best career she wanted. She left home when she was at eight and got discovered at fourteen by celebrity photographer Marting Schilling in saarbrucken in Germany. She recently visited African University College of Communications to explain her decision to relocate back home.

According to the International Model, who arrived on the 2nd January, 2021, she said the journey hasn’t been that easy. Since growing up, she encountered lots of spiritual things early when she lived with her Grandmother until she reached age five to go continue school in New Town.

Aside that, the journey of becoming a model, was not that easy as well. This is because, you will have difficulties in getting Managing Agencies and photographers to work with. Sometimes, if you don’t take care, you may get discouraged but she never quitted. She said, “The most worst experience I would never forget is when I was told to shot a certain scenes and later learnt, all was deleted”.

Again she said, the emergence of Covid-19 had some sort of been an obstacle in the industry. Since, you may not be hired by companies or brands to shoot or do advertisements for them.

In all, she said she is happy coming back home since it has been a long time she left and hasn’t been able to see her family for some years now. Therefore, she is back to spend some time with her family, connect with her friends and giving chances to people who would like to operate or team up with her.
